As a starting point, students can view the table below which shows the recommended policies depending on where they come from (UK, Europe, North America, rest of world) and where they are going to (UK, Europe, North America, rest of world).

In addition to those policies that the students take out, the EMS office will also check that the placement providers have the appropriate cover in place, namely, Employers liability Insurance or Workers Compensation (or other depending on the country).

Insurance is a complex area so please don't hesitate to contact us for more information.

NB. We do not allow waivers to be signed by students unless legal advice has been sought.
